Apprentice plumber
We are a residential service plumbing company looking for a capable and enthusiastic person to join our team as an apprentice plumber. We replace water heaters, rod sewers, repair faucets and showers, install sump pumps, etc. We service or replace everything involved with residential plumbing. We also do sewer repairs and lead water service replacements. You would start out driving with a licensed plumber while learning the trade. After a trial period we would register you as an apprentice plumber with the state of Illinois. The apprenticeship program is four years; once completed you would take the IDPH plumbing test, and upon passing, receive your plumbing license.
Clean driving record required. Smoke free workplace. Trustworthiness is of utmost importance. Must have good customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively. Need to enjoy solving problems, working with tools, and learning on the job.
This position involves daily physical activity. Must be able to lift, carry, or move objects weighing approximately 100lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Hourly + Overtime

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Mon-Fri, 7:30AM-4PM
